DEITY Launches
On April 7th, 2018, Deity Microphones made it’s public debut at the Las Vegas NAB Show.
Product of the Year – Cinegear
At the Cinegear LA EXPO 2018, the Deity V-Mic D3 Pro won PV’s Product of the Year.
When launched later in the year, the V-Mic D3 Pro became the world’s first camera microphone with a built-in gain knob.
Upgraded Offices
After a year of operating out of a basement in Hollywood, Deity moved to a 5,500 sqft facility in Glendale, CA.
They are still there today.
#1 Youtube Channel For Filmmakers
In 2019, the Premium Beat Blog ranked Deity as the #1 YouTube channel new filmmakers should subscribe to and watch.
Social Media Milestone
Over the course of 2019, Deity’s Facebook page climbed to 100,000 followers.
Worldwide Reach
2020 saw Deity products being sold in over 240 stores across 40 countries.
Youtube Milestone
Within a few years of launching, Deity reached 50,000 subscribers on YouTube in 2021.
The Rode Alternative
In 2021, Wired Magazine rated Deity as the best Rode alternative for independent filmmakers and content creators.
Zaxcom Patent License
Deity Microphones becomes the first company in the world to license the coveted “Transmit and Record” patent from Zaxcom.
In 2021, this technology would be integrated into the Deity BP-TRX.
Product Of The Year – NAB 2021
The BP-TRX is awarded product of the year at the NAB Show Las Vegas.
Best In Show
The V-Mic D4 DUO won Best in Show 2021 from the Digital Camera World Magazine at the Photo Show UK.
Product Of The Year Nominee – NAB 2022
The Deity TC-SL1 smart slate was nominated for Product of the Year at the NAB Show Las Vegas 2022.
Product Of The Year Winner – Cine Gear EXPO LA 2022
Two months after NAB, the Deity TC-SL1 would win the audio product of the year award at Cine Gear EXPO LA 2022.

DUTCH FILM SOUND ASSOCIATION
The DFSA is for students, starters and experienced sound specialists in Dutch television and film. The DFSA is for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation. The DFSA offers the resources and network to grow and contribute to the future of our field.
THE GUILD OF TELEVISION CAMERA PROFESSIONALS
The GTC aims to preserve the professional status of all those earning their living through working with television cameras and to establish, uphold, and advance standards and expertise within the profession in the UK with members worldwide.
THE INSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL SOUND
