Step-By-Step User Guide
First things first, grab a 9-Pin Timecode to 3.5 TRS cable. Next, locate the Timecode Port on the back left of the camera and plug it in.
Really quickly, confirm your frame rate, in this case I’m using “23.98.“
On your TC-1, scroll over to the frame rate section and match it to the camera.
Next, scroll over to the out type section and select “L-Out.”
In your camera’s menu, scroll down to “Audio / TC.”
Inside of this menu, go to “timecode source” and make sure “external” is selected.
Once that’s done, return to the “Audio/TC” menu scroll down to “Timecode Display Mode.”
Inside this, select “TOD.”
Your RED KOMODO 6K will recognize this signal and is ready to be synced with the rest of your set!
